5 Things Bruce Lee Did NOT Do

1. Bruce Lee was NOT born in China. Bruce Lee was actually born in San Francisco, California, on November 27, 1940.

2. Bruce Lee's first on-screen appearance was NOT "The Green Hornet." Bruce Lee's father was an actor in China, Lee Hoi-Chuen. Bruce's first on-screen appearance was as a baby in the film Golden Gate Girl.

3. Bruce Lee did NOT graduate from college. Bruce Lee attended the University of Washington in 1961 and majored in drama, according to an article published in 1999 from the University of Washington alumni magazine.

4. Bruce Lee did NOT get the lead role for the "Kung Fu" television series. The role was given to American actor David Carradine instead.

5. Bruce Lee's legacy will NOT die. Bruce Lee was born into this world, but his legacy will never   leave this world. As long as there are people watching his films, reading his books, and practicing his art, the legacy that Bruce Lee left will continue to live on.
